Highland Groves is a vibrant subdivision located in the eastern part of Gilbert, Arizona, spanning over 143 acres of land and consisting of 457 lots. This subdivision is an integral part of the 2,000-acre master-planned community of Morrison Ranch, which is famous for its beautiful turf and tree landscaping, making it an ideal place for people who want to live close to nature.
One of the most prominent features of the Highland Groves subdivision is the two breathtaking lakes located in the center of the community. These lakes are divided by an 82-foot-wide street that includes a 42-foot-wide landscaped median, adding to the beauty of the community. EPS Group was involved in the designing and construction of the lake fill line, which would allow the lakes to be filled from two sources – the Town of Gilbert reclaimed water and the Roosevelt Water Conservation District (RWCD) irrigation water. The firm provided top-of-the-line engineering services, ensuring that the project was completed on time and within budget.
Apart from adding aesthetic value to the community, the lakes in Highland Groves serve as part of a series of open space tracts that run north to south throughout the subdivision. They provide a perfect spot for recreation and relaxation for residents, giving them a place to unwind and connect with nature. The lakes also serve a practical purpose: providing water to irrigate the turf and trees located in the many open space areas not only in Highland Groves but in future adjacent projects within Morrison Ranch as well.
Our role in ensuring the successful completion of this project was providing several high-quality services, including civil engineering, survey, construction staking, site prep grading, and utility packages. The firm also prepared the final plat and post-design services for the project, guaranteeing that the project met all required specifications and was up to code.
