EPS Group prepared a DCR and Draft EA of the existing Lupton Diamond TI on Interstate 40. The Lupton interchange experienced significant operational challenges due to inadequate structural clearance (13’11”), proximity of two-way frontage roads, and a heavily utilized truck stop. EPS Group recommended and ADOT agreed to relocate the entire diamond interchange approximately 900’ to the west in order to mitigate the operational and physical constraints with the existing TI location.
