As part of the road improvements along the Edison Road at the industrial park in the City of Maricopa, EPS Group’s landscape architecture team provided landscape architectural design for the approximately 0.8-mile streetscape along the new road alignment connecting Edison Road to State Route (SR) 238. The streetscape provides a unifying element and an alternative pattern to the roadway with its colorful desert adaptive trees and understory plantings. The informal planting design with certain alternative pattern generates diversity and desert feeling pedestrian and driving experience with colorful and shaded trees and low water use plants.
