Litchfield Park City Center – Litchfield Park, Arizona

As part of the Litchfield Park City Center development, EPS Group was commissioned by the City of Litchfield Park to provide design services for the 33.5-acre city center area including the design of the 4-acre City Center Park. The new City Center is home to the next generation of business growth as well as entertainment destinations for Litchfield Park and surrounding areas. It is designated for commercial, office, retail and mix-use developments with distinctive contemporary Spanish Mission style characters and strong street level presence that engages the community.

Pedestrian amenities such as shade, seating, educational nodes and safe crossings are very important features throughout the city center intended to provide a friendly and comfortable environment for locals and visitors alike. To accommodate existing and future regional events, the park provides (2) flexible event lawns, an amphitheater and ample designated food truck parking.

In addition, a variety of uses are programmed into the park such as children’s playground, water features, splash pad, pedestrian promenade, memorial plaza, palm plaza and educational garden, providing opportunities for socialization, recreation and showcasing Litchfield Park’s historic characters and unique sense of place. EPS Group is providing civil engineering and landscape architectural services.
